Our farm dates back to the 1700's and was established by one of Truro's founders, Thomas Paine. Our family aquired the farm in 1941 and we are only the second family to own it. Prior to the arrival of the Pilgrims on Cape Cod, this property was most certainly used by the Payomet Native Americans members of the Wampanoag Tribe - the People of the First Light. Originally, it was a grazing farm for sheep, goats and milk cows. Today, we are working at developing it into an organic produce farm.
