Mesquite bean coffee is back!! Many have been asking and 'tis the season! Some market veterans may have noticed our long time vendor Wayne has taken most of the summer off with the heat. He may not have been at market, but he's been busy roasting mesquite beans for a truly unique cup of New Mexico grown coffee! Stop by and get yourself a few beans while they last! Be decadent!! Take advantage of our local farmers and make this summer salad Saturday night. Most of the ingredients will be available at the Sierra County Farmers Market. Fresh peaches will be on sale. Figs will be there as well as the cherry tomatoes and add a few greens for good luck! A little oil and balsamic vinegar and you have pure dietary decadence. And remember we have fresh eggs, baked treats and fresh apples in season! See you Saturday morning!

Apples, peaches, and pears, oh my! You may have noticed that Canyon Wind Gardens took the day off from market recently. That was because they knew the fruit was coming and they needed all the rest they could get. Well the fruit has in fact arrived! Asian pears, Gleason peaches and apples galore! Dorset goldens, Anna's and Beverly Hills...taste all three varieties and let us know which is your favorite! See you Saturday from 8:30-11:30 at Ralph Edwards park along the Rio Grande River!
