Happy New Year Tuckerton!! Unfortunately our little store no longer looks like this as most of our stuff has been cleared out already. We just wanted to say a final goodbye before we finish clearing out and then going to work normal jobs again. Before we go, we did want to make some things clear because there are many misconceptions about who we are.

First, our names our Will and Allison, and we opened this store in February of 2021 after saving up enough money from working at Wawa. We never ever had anything to do with either store located on radio road, apart from being owned by a family member. That store was relocated to Ship Bottom, which is still open and thriving. We are a franchise, and all the Mystic Lobster Roll companies are franchises, which are opened and owned by individual families.

Second, us closing had absolutely nothing to do with our location. Our location was ideal to us as it was affordable and located in our town of Tuckerton. As we have said, we had many loyal supporters and were growing our customer base in our hometown of Tuckerton, and beyond. With free delivery, we had no problems reaching our desired customers. The reason we closed was because of unprecedented price increases all stemming back from repercussions of Covid as well as the current state of the economy. Our prices did not reflect what we should have been charging. Essentially, we were too nice. Like we said earlier, we didn’t have the profit margins, and many larger well established businesses are able to absorb the cost, we were not.

Finally, we want to give one last big thank you to anyone who has ever spread any positive word of mouth about us, whether in person or online. You guys are the reason we kept going every day, and genuinely made us feel good to know that we were contributing something positive to our community. So thank you again for a great year, we will see all of you around town!
