The Farmers Market Illusion

Farmers markets aren’t always what they seem! 🧐 Some vendors resell produce or operate as wholesalers and middlemen—even among craft vendors and artisans—blurring the line between local and mass-produced.

At our market, we do things differently. Every vendor is vetted and must grow, raise, or create at least 90% of what they sell. Anything not made by the vendor is clearly labeled—so you know exactly where your food and goods come from.

Because transparency matters—and so does supporting truly local.
