Packed up and ready for the weekend!!!! Briskets, ribs, sausages, burgers, dogs, steaks and seafood. We also have a rad lobster mushroom roll that I was very against putting on the menu but then I took a bite and it was life changing. Lobster mushroom rolls $15 bucks each. We also have half lobster to add to your meal or to take home for $35.00 each.

Sando of the weeks is the sloppy sexy joe. The team added a roasted green chili and some shaved white onions and I’m stoked for it. Yes that American cheese and yes it will be sloppy. Add some frites if you’re asking me he’ll add the frites to the Sandi of skip the bread and halt go for some sexy sloppy frites. Either way it’s gonna smash!!!!

Tell me about the hanger steak. It’s good trust me, that’s all you need to know. Grill it slice against the grain and try one of the most unique cuts of beef.

The burger sale will happen again Tuesday until sold out. Hurry up it’s Labor Day and we’ve got buns and cheese and lots of of great laboring items that will make for a great que.

Check out the sexy. Ew bodega items, grab some sausage carefully maybe some buns and make it a hit weekend, and if grab some tasty local beers from Pueblo Vida, Slow body, and many others but come to Forbes for all of the above and the beers too as we’ve got it all in this sexy little shop. Mason is always smiling I don’t know if it’s his Southern heritage or just the fact that he loves his job maybe a little bit of both. Either way, Mason absolutely crushed the grill tonight not pictured here was a 3 pound porterhouse and a 4 1/2 pound bone in ribeye that he literally cooked to perfection. Today I want to celebrate you all, the community that has supported the growth and development of Forbes Meat from farmers markets to our little bit not so little brick and mortar 3300 square feet butcher shop, brasserie, bar, and now a slow growing bodega. To Ermanos, Revel wine bar, Charro Steak , Mama Louisa's , downtown kitchen and cocktails, The Parish Tucson , Lindy's On 4th , Exo Roast Co ,Tohono Chul garden bistro, Saguaro Corners , EMPIRE PIZZA , Anello , 5 POINTS , Brushfire BBQ, Divine Bovine Burgers , red desert bbq, the ritz, casino Del sol, Lowes Ventana, and all the chefs of these amazing restaurants, thank you for putting Forbes on your menus and opening the doors for me to grow. To the community that supports us daily to feed their families, thank you for choosing us. It truly is amazing and a lot of fun doing what we do. As my favorite artist Luke Combs says, “when the lights fade and somebody says tell me something you’re proud of when you think about your life. I’m going to tell them about my kids, and this amazing Shop at 747 S 6th Ave. I’m proud of my team, this chef community, and the families that have come to love us and we love you. Here’s some pics of the meals on our opening menu. Happy Anniversary to Forbes Meat at 747 S 6th Ave. Two years ago on Sunday 7/28/24 we opened the doors of this beautiful shop. We went from a little butcher shop to a brasserie, bar, and now a bodega has been added. The menu has grown and we’ve grown even more as an individuals and as a team. We will celebrate our anniversary all week and we look forward to seeing you all as we eat, drink, and share stories together. We’ve gone from a teak of twelve to close to fifty team members. Tuesday is our official two year anniversary and it’s also tiki Tuesday with fish and chips as our daily special. Lobster roll weekend is this coming weekend and maybe we will start early and do lobster rolls all week to celebrate. We will share stored all week as we celebrate one another. Thank you for all the love and support.
