The collaboration of owners Gary and FaDawn Kesler brings an inspired dining experience to the Deco District for busy downtown workers. With a menu focusing on fresh, seasonal and local progressive produce, Deco Deli offers a wide range of sandwiches, wraps, salads, soups, smoothies, and more. For downtown residents, the market will take orders for staple groceries, such as milk, eggs, and bread,
to be picked up. The restaurant menu features sandwiches named after historic downtown buildings. The signature is, of course, the Atlas, a Cuban sandwich or wrap with roasted pork, shaved ham, dill pickles, Swiss cheese, and stone‐ground mustard. The gourmet grilled cheese, named after the Thompson building, is also expected to be a favorite. All sandwiches come with chips and salads with homemade dressings. The classic modern interior focuses on the present and the past. Throughout the space, customers will notice the original granite from the 1922 building repurposed into countertops and tables. Framed black and white photography from the Tulsa Historical Society’s archives decorates the walls. The feature is a vivid mural of the Greek mythology Atlas carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders, resembling the historic statue that sits atop of the building, by locally‐acclaimed William the Artist. Head Chef/owner Gary Kesler, has over 20 years experience in the restaurant industry and has been featured in news segments, competitions, and magazines through the years. Deco Deli and Market is open Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM. For catering orders, call 918‐938‐6858.
