“The Hoof” we like celebrating and supporting our cummunity. Last year we put on a fire work show out of pocket and it was larger than the cities show. This year we’re doubling it. We’re big on supporting local businesses. Such as the huddle house , Vance Tire & Alignment, South's Finest Meats and Vegetables Cottondale, Mary's Truck Stop,Citizens' Water Service, Inc. So we like to give back. Also support Every West Blocton sport Town of West Blocton Alabama, We Are West Blocton,West Blocton Youth Football & Cheerleaders, West Blocton High School, West Blocton Al community page, West Blocton High School Baseball Field, Blocton baseball and softball that it won’t let me tag. This will be a $5,000.00 firework show asking nothing but your attendance and share on your personal page. We hope you’ll share this. Last year there was people lined up all the way down Highway 11 and all
Parking lots were full from here to covered bridge road. We appreciate your business and community support. Vance Police Department does an amazing job of keeping a special eye on our business. And we always back the BLUE. If you notice when you pass our place. We fly the AMERICAN flag with pride and make sure it’s never tangled or crossed over. No way at all we could do this without our amazing customers. Even if you don’t hunt, stop by and say hi. We loving meeting locals and sharing some good ole back woods stories. A lot of times we have samples to try as our smokers run 24/7. Also like to give a shout to our friends at The Meat Locker, and Trail's End Deer Processing. They are the big dogs in this business and they send em to us when they get full. And we’re so thankful for the professional relationship we’ve built with such fine establishments and considered to be there with them. Also to the Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division. For always being there for our complicated questions and services. They are doing an amazing job and management and making sure all deer harvested are accounted for and checked in. Which we’ve learned that keeps it more simple on our end when we need help. Halls Family Fireworks for giving us the hook up on the BIG stuff. So again we invite you all to come and find a good spot early. We will start cutting the big lights off at 9 pm and the first fuse lit at 9:30pm. It was said that this was done to get more business let me clarify :this isn’t for business as we have more than we can handle. If we needed business we would spend half the money on radio advertisements. It’s our way of not being greedy and doing well enough we can blow it and give back to the people at the same time. Some are just ignorant and jealous. The town of Vance is doing theirs at 9pm. So we’re doing ours at 9:30
