Well it's Monday and it's not the same as it usually is because usually we are posting our daily special or weekly special but sadly I can't post nothing anymore because it's gone. When you don't know anything but being here everyday and putting your WHOLE heart into a place not because u have to but because you chose to... It's great getting to know customers and always meeting new ones. It was part of my everyday routine to be at JRS Grocery and More and to have people coming back and letting you know they really enjoy your food , to go out of my way to make sure everyone felt welcome and know that we also delivered to make it easier on people.....I'm so lost and sad😪

OK well a lot has happened in our county in the last little while with all the flooding ,thank God that there's so people willing to help each other.So this morning I have a family on my mind ,nothing to do with the flooding. This family has cancer to deal with and as anyone knows that with cancer treatments that people get weak and unable to walk,so when that happens then they are unable to get down steps with a wheelchair,so before that becomes a big problem ,I would like to try and raise money to get a ramp built.....so with that said I would like to start today taking up donations to get this done for this family,so please let's get started on a fund raiser now through the 15 the of August and see if we can't take up the money to fund this project.Would rather not mention no names but would be more then happen to post pictures of the ramp once it gets done to let you know where the donations went,please help me help this family.So anyone interested in helping please feel free too, we as a community could do this and bless them by helping them.
