Meet Kasey of Bread Flower! She says “I've been baking sourdough bread since 2018, but after realizing that I have an allergy to gluten, I wanted to continue to make sourdough bread that my family and I could enjoy. I made the switch to baking exclusively gluten-free sourdough in 2024, and I haven't looked back. I make gluten-free sourdough bread in a traditional way, utilizing only wild yeast, organic flours, and a long fermentation time for the quintessential sourdough texture and flavor. I bake in my WA State-certified home kitchen, and I maintain a gluten-free baking environment for myself and for my customers. I will be at every Methow Valley Farmers Market weekend this summer with sourdough bread, baguettes, pizza crusts, and other handcrafted, gluten-free goodies.” Come say hi to this baker extraordinaire !
