Well it is garden time again! We are anxious to see how this year goes. Last year we were all on the hunt for green beans..hopefully this year MOTHER NATURE plays nice :D ! Don't be bashful share some of your garden or canning pictures..if you have a flower garden, we would love to see it too!! Since Mike's Market had closed, we will just use this as a garden blog!! Maybe someone's post will be a tip for another person!!

I sure miss Mike getting ready to plant garden! Remember him cutting up all those seed potatoes and getting them planted by St. Patrick's Day! I miss his gorgeous gardens with hardly a w**d and the wonderful produce that came from them! I wonderful if his volunteer sunflowers will come up again this year! I guess time will tell!

Well, we have decided with much regret, that we are no longer going to put in a garden in Tyro. We have had so much fun doing this in the past. We will still keep our gardens and still post what our garden summer is doing. Unfortunately we are no Mike Sutton when it comes to gardening. Last summer there were more w**ds than plants...we do not water dad's garden (he did not either) so it is completely up to mother nature and she threw us some cork screws last summer. We will have some summer projects with Kathi this summer....hmmmm trying to remember if I told her that or not haha!! Canning will still go on and will keep everyone updated if anything new arises. :) All family and friends of this site..please tell us of your summer gardening and projects..we would love to hear about them!!

New happenings in our family. Congratulations to Laken Davis and Brad Flanary. The got married June 8th 2013. This was a family event for sure.
Stephanie, Kathi, Julie, Alex, Jessica, Heather, Whitley, Devin, Desirea and Mike, Lena, Christopher, Mikala, Rica, Cassidy, Trish, Jacob,Julie and Wayne. Hope I didn't forget and probably did. I was lucky enough to have very talented people in our family. Kathi does the most beautiful flowers, Mikala made them all look so beautiful, make up and hair, and hair pieces, Desirea and Mike took the portraits, a very important part. The rest had helped with planning, working, and emotional support. I love you all so much and can't begin to tell you how much it meant to me to give my little girl the best I could. From 2lbs and a fractured skull, to graduating culinary school, and now getting married. WOW! Love you all more then I can ever say!
