It’s cold out this morning but every day is one day closer to warmer weather and gardening season. The asparagus will be coming up soon and potatoes and onions will go in the ground as soon as I get my tractor running. My greenhouse plants are coming up now they just need sunshine! I’m looking forward to farmers markets. Seward starting may 17th if the weather is good and York starts in June. David city should also be starting soon. Are you ready for fresh homegrown vegetables? I am!!!!!

I’m not good at posting on my page so I hope you all follow the Seward farmers market on the square page. We are winding up another season with lots of pumpkins and squash and fortunately this year there are still tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, sweet potatoes, potatoes and random other produce available. It was a late year so that makes fall produce more available.

The freeze is coming though so make sure to get fresh produce while you can. Deer season is sneaking up on me but I will still be at Seward market on Wednesday and Saturday and another week in David city. The garden needs it’s winter rest though
