Hive inspections tonight. 2 of the 4 colonies are doing fantastic. 1 swarmed 😭 but is still in great shape (waiting for a new queen to hatch) and 1 is still is not doing so hot and may not store enough for winter.

Final totals are in this season, we collected 1,665 gallons of sap on 242 taps. Avg 6.88gal sap/tap. And produced 39 gal...

Final totals are in this season, we collected 1,665 gallons of sap on 242 taps. Avg 6.88gal sap/tap. And produced 39 gallons of finished syrup for a final ratio of 42.69:1. Avg finished syrup per tap... 20oz 🤮🤮.

All and all a pretty crappy year in terms of numbers but we exceeded our goal by 9gal so for that we are thankful!

We have plenty of syrup still available, message us if you are interested in purchasing.

Another 9.5ish gallons bottled up and ready for labeling. About 10gal left to bottle, sugar to make and then cleanup.
