Eating breakfast this morning & this happened. How many eggs did I crack open? If you said 4, you are right! I cracked open 3 double yolkers. Double yolk eggs are rare eggs that contain two yolks inside a single shell instead of the usual one. A hen's body releases two yolks into the oviduct at the same time or in very quick succession. The egg white and a single shell form around both yolks. They are perfectly safe to eat.

Duley Farms Produce is one of your many local sources for farm fresh eggs. You can order online or come out to the Croom Community Market on Saturdays to pick some up (9am to 1pm at 8505 Croom Rd). Coming soon... you'll be able to get our fresh eggs from the self serve stand at 8505 Croom Rd. Right now we have our own grown kale, collard cabbage, tomatoes & more. Open everyday 10am to 7pm.

Ordering opens Saturday at 6pm & closes Thursday at noon.
