"As our family was very young, we would raise extra beef and sold it to our neighbors. We've been selling beef for 30 plus years."

That's Stanley, father of the Smith family and owner of Farm Fresh Beef. Long before there was a store or a food truck, it was beef for their own table — and a little extra for the neighbors. That's how the whole thing started.

Thirty years on, same family, same ranch, same land in Knippa, Texas. We raise our own beef, farm-to-table, the way we'd want it for our own family. Come by the store and buy the specific cut you want for your own backyard barbecue or order online.

We're not the cheapest beef around — and we're okay with that.

Julie sat down to explain why. We raise our cattle right here on our own ranch. They're processed at a local facility, and then they come straight to Farm Fresh Beef. No long supply chain. No wondering where it came from or what else is in it.

That's what farm-to-table actually means around here — and it's the very same beef we put on our own family's table, thirty years in.
