The official October tradition. 😂🎃

Buy the Halloween candy early. Eat a few pieces. Somehow discover half the bag is gone. Return to The Market for the candy that is actually going to the trick or treaters.

No judgment here.

Meet John Casson from The Market at Krause’s Hazen 💜

For 10 years, John has been part of the team as a Smokehouse Expert. One of his favorite things about working at the store is the flexibility and atmosphere, but what really stands out is the team culture, where people are always willing to help each other out, whether they are at work or not.

Outside of work, life stays pretty busy. John and his wife have three kids, two girls, ages 14 and 9, and a son, age 11. When they are not traveling around the country for sporting events, you can usually find the family relaxing by the pool at home with their three dogs and two cats.

Thanks for spending the last decade with us, John. We’re lucky to have you as part of The Market team!

October grocery shopping has a very specific vibe. 🎃

Something for the slow cooker. Something for game day. Something pumpkin flavored. And at least one bag of Halloween candy that probably will not make it to October 31.

What are we missing from the official October cart?

Family owned means a little more around here. 💜

It means familiar faces. A friendly hello. Teams who know their communities because they’re part of them, too.

It means taking pride in the stores we serve, the shelves we stock, and the people who walk through our doors every day.

That’s what grocery shopping should feel like.

That’s The Market.

One cool morning and suddenly soup is back on the menu. 🍲🍂

Chili is simmering. The slow cooker is working overtime. And turning the oven on finally sounds like a good idea again.

Fall comfort food season, we missed you.

What’s the most important thing on the dinner table?

It might not be the food. 💜

Years from now, we probably won’t remember what we made for dinner on a random Tuesday night. But we’ll remember the stories, the laughter, the traditions, and the time spent together.

This Family Meals Month, we’re celebrating all the little moments that happen when we make time to gather around the table.

Meet Abigail Sheppard from The Market at Rangely 💜

Abigail has been part of The Market team for a little over two years, working as a cashier. A favorite part of the job is staying connected with the community and getting to know the people who shop at the store.

Outside of work, Abigail enjoys collecting unique finds and creating art.

We’re grateful to have Abigail as part of The Market team and for the welcoming presence Abigail brings to the Rangely community.

Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the courage of the first responders and everyday Americans who stepped forward in the moments that followed.

We remember the families whose lives were forever changed, and the strength and unity shown across our country.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸
