Walnut Grove Farms Selling pure beef from healthy, grass-fed cows. Walnut Grove Farm is home to a small herd of cattle raised on green pastures and fescue and clover hay.

No growth hormones or antibodies are involved. The meat is lean and processed locally. Our cows are raised as nature intended. We sell our beef in quarters and halves. A half-side is about 200 pounds and is sold for $4.25 per pound. A quarter is about 100 pounds and is sold for $4.50 per pound. It is delivered in frozen packages: ground beef, ground chuck, cube steak and stew beef about one and a

half pounds per package. Roasts are three to five pounds, and steaks are two per package. In 2012 Walnut Grove introduced organically-raised vegetables that are sold to locally-owned restaurants featuring talented, innovative chefs. We do not use commercial fertilizer or pesticides. Walnut Grove Farm promotes farm-to-fork initiatives that encourages entrepreneurs in the food chain.
