Page's Countryside store features fresh produce in the spring, summer and fall months along with buffalo, elk, beef, jams, sauces, dressings, salsas, cider and preserves throughout the entire year. We attend many farmer's markets in the Lincoln area starting in the spring and continuing in to the fall. The produce is all fresh and local and the buffalo, elk and beef are all raised here in Nebraska
. The produce comes from our own orchard and garden located outside of Valparaiso, 12 miles North of Lincoln. The orchard includes many varieties of peaches, apples, pears, cherries, plums, apricots, along with grape vines. We raise watermelon, cantaloupe, many varieties of summer and winter squash, hot and mild peppers, large pickling cucumbers, pumpkins, asparagus, rhubarb, beets, peas, beans, leeks, onions, potatoes, garlic corn strawberries and strawberry plants, black berries, raspberries, and tomatoes. The meat can be purchased in many forms; including, ground, summer sausage, jerky, roasts, steaks, meat sticks, hot dogs and quarters and halves of beef upon request. The jarred goods include jams, sauces, dressings, salsas, cider and preserves of many varieties. Several examples are; beet balls, wing sauces, pickled jalopenos, asparagus, hot, medium and mild salsas and syrups. There are also sugar free items. We have our own bee hives for local honey.
