Meet Toyo, owner of .gelatoyo , a brand new business that just launched in June! Previously an engineer, Toyo had a dream of owning a gelato business that he has now made a reality. With matcha from Japan, you can come get your matcha gelato in a cup or a cone. He also has premium matcha (extra matcha, less sugar), dairy-free, and fruit (from Amador Farms) options. We are so grateful to everyone who joined us for our 2026 Farm to Fort Fundraising Dinner!

This unforgettable evening featured an exceptional multi-course meal created by local chefs and sourced from our local farms. We raised over $60,000 for our Produce Rx Program, allowing us to continue to provide fresh, local produce to food insecure patients experiencing diet related and chronic illnesses.

Thank you to our chefs, sponsors, guests, and partners for making this event a success and helping us build a healthy community.

Meet the growers behind your favorite market products!

Over the past several weeks, our Cultivating Clark County series (funded by a USDA Farmers Market Promotion Program grant and created in partnership with Riparian Media) has introduced you to the Clark County growers behind the Vancouver Farmers Market. In celebration of National Farmers Market Week, we’re bringing their stories together in one video. Hear about what farming means to them, why they love selling at at the market, and the impact of shopping local.

Watch the video on our YouTube channel and get to know the people growing your food. Link in bio!

Big thanks to Waste Connections for sponsoring Produce Pals!

Produce Pals is our free, summertime youth education program where kids ages 3–11 complete hands-on learning activities and earn $4 to spend on fruits and vegetables at the market, putting dollars directly into the hands of our local farmers.

Programs like this don’t happen without community partners like Waste Connections of Washington in our corner.

Produce Pals runs June through August at both the Downtown and East Vancouver Farmers Markets. Come visit us this summer!

Harvest Moon grows hydroponic greens in Ridgefield, and they're making sure that fresh food reaches everyone who needs it.

This week as part of our Cultivating Clark County farmers spotlight series (funded by a USDA Farmers Market Promotion Program grant and created in partnership with Riparian Media) we're featuring Harvest Moon, a family owned and operated farm in Ridgefield, Washington growing leafy greens, herbs, and microgreens hydroponically.

Harvest Moon proudly participates in VFM’s Produce Prescription Program, which helps community members access fresh, healthy produce through their healthcare providers. Nutritious food shouldn't be a luxury, and they're helping make sure it isn't.

Meet our next Executive Director: Nat West!

Vancouver Farmers Market is excited to announce Nat West as our next Executive Director, beginning August 3, 2026.

Nat was selected following a national search led by our Board of Directors, staff, and community partners, with support from Holt Strategies. His entrepreneurial experience, civic leadership, and commitment to building stronger communities made him the standout choice to lead VFM into its next chapter.

Nat founded Reverend Nat’s Hard Cider in 2011, growing it from a small startup into a nationally distributed craft beverage brand with distribution across 13 states, as well as Canada, Europe, and East Asia. During the company’s 12-year history, it contributed more than $280,000 to nonprofit organizations. Nat also ran for Portland City Council in 2024, finishing fifth in the city’s first ranked-choice voting election.

As we advance our 2026–2030 strategic priorities to strengthen small businesses, expand vibrant public spaces, and increase access to local food, we’re excited to welcome Nat’s leadership and vision to help us achieve our most ambitious chapter yet!

Visit our website to learn more about VFM, and stop by the Downtown Vancouver Farmers Market this Saturday from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. to say hello to Nat!
