Today's the day!! FARMERS MARKET in Vandergrift! In addition to the usual fantastic goodness, today we will welcome fresh picked silver queen corn and home grown watermelon!!!

Our local farmers and bakers will be set up in the parking lot across from the Casino Theater from 4 pm to 6 pm for your fresh shopping pleasure!

Expect to find lots of fresh sweet corn, cantaloupes, peppers, zucchini, tomatoes, beans, okra, herbs, and more!! All grown fresh by your neighbors! And of course there will be baked goods, too! Unfortunately Hens and Hooves will be unable to be with us this week or next with their home grown skincare line, but we hope they have a great vacation.

Please remember that this tiny but tough Market is a true farmers market and not a craft market. We are grateful for the vendors who show up every week to bring us fresh grown and homemade goodness here in Vandergrift!

Awwww Shucks!!! Tomorrow (Thursday) is Farmers Market day in Vandergrift! Our local farmers, bakers, and makers will be set up in the parking lot across from the Casino Theater from 4 pm to 6 pm for your fresh shopping pleasure! It's Farmers Market Day!! Our local farmers, bakers, and makers will be set up in the parking lot across from the Casino Theater from 4 pm to 6 pm for your fresh shopping pleasure! Expect to find lots of fresh sweet corn, cantaloupes, peppers, zucchini, tomatoes, beans, okra, herbs, and more!! All grown fresh by your neighbors! And of course there will be baked goods, all natural skin care products, too!

We also want to be transparent and let you know that the vendor who was able to accept SNAP benefits has had to drop out of the market for the rest of the season for life reasons. We wish them well and understand their situation! We are working on finding an alternate system so that we can continue to accept SNAP benefits, but for at least today we will be unable to do so. We do apologize for this but it is entirely beyond the control of the volunteers.

If you've been waiting for the growing season to be in full swing, tomorrow is your day for visiting the Farmers Market in Vandergrift. Our farmers and makers will be at the lot across from the Casino theater from 4 pm to 6 pm. Hens and Hooves is bringing some new creative and home made products. Jamie's Sweets & Such is celebrating Christmas in July which is so fun! Acorn Hollow Farm is bringing Tomatoes, cukes, peppers, hot peppers, tomatillos, zucchini and maybe even some onions. Ritters is bringing fresh produce including CORN and the first cantaloupe of the season!! Unfortunately Maple Ridge Farm & Bakery won't be able to be with is tomorrow and they are the vendor that does the SNAP program so please be aware. Come out and support our farmer neighbors every Thursday from 4 to 6 pm! You won't regret a meal of fresh produce!

Oh yeah! Tomorrow (Thursday) is Farmers Market day in Vandergrift and drumroĺl please....the first corn of the local season will be there! Greens, beans, zuchini, tomatoes, blueberries, eggs, sweets, bread, skincare products and so much more! And 🌽 corn! What a beautiful thing! Stop by the parking lot adjacent to the casino theater between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. tomorrow to pick up locally grown healthy food and support our farmer neighbors!

Forrest says to run on down to the Vandergrift Farmers Marker tomorrow, Thursday, from 4 to 6 pm in the parking lot adjacent to the Casino Theater! Tomorrow our farmers and makers will be bringing cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, strawberries, zucchini, cabbage, beets, lots of yellow and green beans! Sourdough bread! Eggs! We're excited to welcome a guest vendor this week! Youghiogheny River Roasters is a woman owned small batch organic coffee roasting business coming to us tonight from the yough area! Stop by to learn more about their coffee, and maybe we can convince them that this isn't just a one-time appearance! The farmers market will be open today from 4:00 to 6 p.m. in Vandergrift. On a hot day like today what's better than a big salad made with farm fresh lettuce? Nothing! Stop by the Vandergrift Farmers Market between 4 and 6:00 p.m. today to find lots of fresh goodness to enjoy over this holiday weekend! Fresh produce, baked goods, eggs, breads, organic skin care products, and so much more! Today's haul will include strawberries, blackberries, tomatoes, zucchinis, beets, beans and more. Corn may be ready next week! We will be in the parking lot across from the Casino Theater. See you there!
