Larry the spider has taken up in a window corner, as many spiders do once the PNW air drops to cooler temperatures. Our regulars, who we like to think covet their window seats as much as the spider covets her web, have made an allowance for her trespass. We're hiring! We’re looking to add a thoughtful and community-minded person to our Minglement staff! The ideal person is someone with a strong interest in herbalism and a solid working knowledge of supplements. Prior retail or apothecary experience is helpful but not required — we’re happy to mentor the right person. This part-time role (2–3 days/week, starting at $20/hour) involves a blend of retail, stocking and cleaning as well as some administrative work, with two days spent at the retail counter connecting with customers and one day in the office helping manage behind-the-scenes operations. More details upon interview.

Minglement is a long-standing Vashon business established in 1972 with deep roots on the island. In this role, you'll work closely with the Minglement staff to brainstorm, plan, and help to implement specialty projects. If you're organized, curious, have some tech knowledge and are passionate about herbal wellness, we’d love to hear from you.
