Well the tally is complete. We raised $12,000 for the honor flight. I would like to thank everyone for helping me support this awesome program. Thanks to all of you, we get to help send 6 veterans on a trip of a lifetime.

Honor Flight Update
We are just shy of sending 3 veterans on the honor flight.
I have the most wonderful customers.

This year Memorial Day has a little different meaning to me. As many of you know I don’t post on Facebook anymore. This past December my dad past away from complications from Agent Orange. He was a Purple Heart recipient and was in Vietnam during the height of the war. Fortunately he was one oof the lucky ones if you can look at it that way, he got to come home. 2 years ago my dad was selected to go on The Honor Flight. He was proud and very appreciative of this trip. He said it was favorite thing he has ever done. So, in his memory I am going to donate in his memory, the cost of one veteran to get to go on this trip of a lifetime. I would like to challenge my customers and businesses of Vergas to help me generate enough donations to send another veteran on this trip. This trip costs cost $2000 per veteran. If you have the means please do what you can, if you don’t have the means, please thank a veteran. Donations can be dropped off at the store and I will get them to the Honor Flight. Thank you
