Check out our health and wellness programming for September! 🍊🌻🥑🥝

September is End Hunger Month, and we are doing our part at ShopRite to help end hunger in our community.
We will be hosting our annual Help Bag Hunger events on Tuesday, September 15th in all three locations.
10-11 @ ShopRite of East Hartford
11-12 @ ShopRite of Vernon
1-2 @ ShopRite of Manchester

During this event, we are joined by community partners (local police, Fire, Food Pantry representatives, The Mayor of East Hartford) to help spread awareness about hunger in our community. Our wonderful community volunteers will help bag groceries during this event while helping to raise money for our local food pantries. Feel free to stop by and support the cause during this event or anytime during the month of September.

And as always, we will be hosting our monthly Toddler, Kids and Teen cooking classes as well as our Virtual Series this month. Click on the link below to sign up today!!

Waverly Markets is proud to serve as the Market Sponsor of the Vernon Farmers Market, helping support its continued growth and accessibility for the community.

We will have our dietitians at each market who will provide nutrition information, recipes and information about delivery services.

To make the market more accessible, anyone without a car or reliable transportation can receive a free ride to the Vernon Farmers Market through the Hockanum Valley Community Council.

Our Kids Summer Cooking Classes are 1.5 hours long (usually 40 mins long).
This class is for kids ages 6-12. Please do not sign up for more than one session per month because the recipes all month are the same. However, you can sign up for a session in July and a session in August. Please read dates, times and locations carefully. You do not have to stay in the cafe area for the kids class but we do ask that you do not leave the store.

Kids Class Recipes for July: Bean Quesadillas with Homemade Guacamole and a No Bake Key Lime Dessert **Please note the recipes are NOT dairy-free or gluten-free. Thank you!
