Our NPIP visit is complete, and we’re happy to report that our birds are in good standing!

Keeping a healthy, well-managed flock is a priority here at Wholesome Meadow Farms. Our participation in the NPIP program helps us maintain strong poultry health practices and gives our customers added confidence when purchasing chicks, hatching eggs, and birds from our farm.

Our newest batch of chicken and guinea stock is made from our recently processed, pasture-raised birds.

Non-GMO pasture-raised chicken, carrots, onions, celery, bay leaves, peppercorns, and a pinch of salt.

🚜🌱 A New Game Changer on the Farm!

Our new JohnDeere Z545R mower is already making a huge difference. We were able to cut all the grass in the main chicken pasture and around the orchard area quickly and efficiently.

A big shoutout to John Deere —we love the quality and performance of their products. This mower is definitely helping us keep the farm looking great and running smoothly! 💚💛

Our two Black Angus mama cows are settling in very well and looking comfortable out in the pasture. 🐄🐄 After the rain, we treated them to a little afternoon snack, and they were more than happy to enjoy it. It is always a good feeling to see them relaxed, grazing, and adjusting well to their surroundings. 🌧️🌱

🐔🚜 Our Fleet Is Ready for a New Pasture Run! 🚜🐔

Our fleet of chicken tractors is lined up, loaded, and ready to move onto fresh pasture! The chickens are excited for new grass, fresh bugs, sunshine, and plenty of room to scratch, peck, and explore. 🌱☀️

Moving the tractors regularly gives our flock a clean area to enjoy while helping us keep them healthy, active, and naturally raised on pasture. It is always fun to see the tractors in a row, ready for the next run across the farm!

🐮 Black Angus Mamas Have Arrived! 🌱

We're excited to welcome our new Registered 100% Black Angus mama cows from Uncle Henry's Farms! 🎉

This is another big step toward our goal of raising high-quality, pasture-raised beef right here on our farm. Before long, we'll be enjoying our own homegrown beef, raised on our pastures with the same care and dedication we give all of our animals.

A huge thank you to Uncle Henry Farms for helping us grow our herd. We can't wait to share this journey with everyone!

We're excited to welcome a beautiful hatch of Ayam Cemani, Brahmas, Leghorns, and Copper Marans! 🖤🐥

Even with the summer heat slowing egg production, we're thrilled with our excellent hatch rates. Healthy chicks and happy incubators make for a great day on the farm!
