NEW VENDOR ALERT!!
We have a new vendor joining un this Thursday at 502 Lee Highway Verona from 3pm-6pm. Eco-Librium Farm LLC makes homemade skincare products and we are thrilled to have them. Here is a little about them from the owner!

At Eco-Librium Farm I've been growing vegetables since 2022. But I started to notice a need in the local markets for high quality, natural skincare for people who want great skin while supporting local farms. So I've started making Farm-to-Face skincare that prioritizes health and sustainability for customers, farmers, and the earth.

I have a range of handmade products including clay cleansers, herbal toners, and incredible creams. I have put a ton of work into formulating for multiple skin types--dry, sensitive, mature, and oily or acne prone--and sincerely hope to provide something for everyone.

Farm-to-Face Skincare
As I develop this Farm-to-Face skincare line I want to:

1). Bring you gentle and deeply nourishing self care routines.
2). Keep ingredients simple, healthy, and effective.
3). Support small farms with regenerative land stewardship practices.

I get a lot of questions about whether I use tallow and how to use my products so I'll take a moment to talk about that here.

Q: Is there Tallow in Eco-Librium Farm products?

A: No, I don't use tallow in any of my current products.

While I like tallow for my hands (especially in the winter), I find it too greasy for my face. I can also usually smell the animal fat which I don't really like personally. I use a different blend of oils, butters, and waxes for each of my products, specially formulated to target specific skin needs.

Q: What are the creams for? Hands, body, face?

A: Face care! I love to use my products for my daily skincare routine. I have to admit that I also love the creams for my hands and have found them very helpful for my eczema.

Q: What is different about Eco-Librium Farm's products?

A: I make true creams rather than body butters or balms. That means they include herbal waters and aloe vera so that you get a full moisturizer that adds water to the skin, locks it in, and conditions all in one.

I've mostly seen oil based products at the local farmer's markets. A body butter, balm, or salv will only have fats and waxes which means they are very good at locking in moisture that is already there, but they don't actually add hydration to the skin. They are easier to make and can be really great for some uses, but typically don't work as a daily moisturizer for the face.
