We've had many inquiries about our upcoming strawberry season. We are so excited to share SWISTAK FARM'S 4️⃣5️⃣TH STRAWBERRY SEASON with you❗️

Some details to be aware of 👇
🍓 We will post our opening date as soon as we know! Usually around mid-June, depending on the weather for berry ripening.
🍓 Keep in mind that strawberry season is usually short, lasting anywhere from 2-4 weeks!
🍓 Strawberry season hours will be:
U-pick stand open daily, 8am-6pm *weather and supply permitting!
Farm Store open daily, 10am-6pm
🍓 Pricing will be per quart, like it has been for the last 7 years. Prices TBD.
🍓You may bring your own containers to fill, but they must be marked with the sizing- NO EXCEPTIONS! You can use buckets from previous years too. *Berry quarts and gallon buckets are available for purchase if needed.
🍓 We will not be taking berry orders- first come, first serve! They will be available for purchase at the farm store building ONLY. The farm store will be open 10a-6p, on the days u-pick strawberries are open. Pre-picked strawberries will not be available before 10am!
🍓 We accept cash, checks and cards at both the u-pick stand and farm store.

🍓We do not charge field admission!
🍓 Transportation to and from the fields will be provided with Kubota rides.
🍓 As always, picking closes if supply is low and for inclement weather situations (lightening, flash flooding, heat index/humidity) so please check our social media pages OR call our phone message BEFORE heading to the farm 315-336-1251.

Did you know strawberry plants are "perennial?"
The growth of strawberry plants span the entire year and repeats annually if maintained properly. The plant can live for 5-6 years! However, after 3 productive years, they begin to lose vigor, and the production of strawberries declines rapidly. Strawberry plants are finicky and require special care and maintenance.
