First Ever CSA packed and out for delivery! Pinch me!!!!!!!
I picked these strawberries from my neighbor farm here at the Farley Center, Los Abuelos. We have a pretty neat set up here where it’s easy to trade what we have in abundance. So, expect to see more from Armando at los abuelos in my CSA cuz he is killing it.

It’s been crazy weather lately.. but at least I don’t have to water this week. 🤷‍♀️ and the plants are loving it so far! 🤞 no more rain for a few days please!

Week 1 CSA:
Spicy salad mix
Strawberries (courtesy of Los Abuelos)
Spinach
Garlic Scapes
Napa Cabbage
Radish
Romaine Lettuce
Dill
Cilantro
Bok Choy

A snippet of a day on the farm. There are never enough hours in the day.
Wooo is that a spring feeling all farmers feel? Flea beetles are ravenous, turning over beds that didn’t germ well, forever uncoiling drip and row cover, and WEEDS. I’ll get to harvest some stuff soon right? 😅😭

Farming is hard work. And even tho I have a huge to-do list it feels so good. It’s a different kind of stress to know it’s my carrots that need to get weeded and my cucumbers that got sun burnt. I always forget how hard farming is until May is back 🤪😅
