The Woodford County Farmers Market is open at Lexington Road Plaza this morning, from 8:30 until noon. Hopefully, the rain will clear out for a while, so you can come by for your Labor Day celebration supplies!

It's a warm day today, but the farmers market will be at Lexington Road Plaza, in front of the old Kroger today, from 3 to 5:30, with a nice assortment of veggies, beef, and pork. Hope to see you there!

Shout out to Gary Jones of VBCfor helping to clear the way for a successful market this morning! He was able to get U-Haul to move several pieces blocking the area where we usually set up . Thank you, patrons, for coming out to support local agriculture, and thank you, Gary for your help!

Farmers Market tomorrow, Saturday, August 19th, at the Lexington Road Plaza, from 8:30 til noon. We may have to contend with some U-Hall units, but we will be there to supply you with your fresh, locally grown produce, meat, eggs, baked goods, and salsa, sauces, pickles, and more! The market will run through the end of October at the Lexington Road Plaza location, see you there!

Our apologies to our patrons. We were missing several regular vendors, so we were unable to have the Wednesday market today. But we will be back on Saturday morning, at the Lexington Road Plaza location, from 8:30 til noon. We should still have lots of corn, tomatoes, beans, and much more. Come out and support your local farmers!

Farmers market tomorrow in Midway, from 3 to 5:30, on Church st. The master Gardeners will be there, and there will be the tomato festival! Tomorrow is our annual Mini-fest! We will have a tomato contest, put on by the Master Gardeners at the Woodford County Extension Service, along with kids activities, the Foggy Bottom Farm petting zoo, giveaways, live music from Will Padgett, chef Angela from the state department of agriculture, and the Woodford County health department will be set up at the market! Lots going on, and lots of fresh, locally grown produce, including tomatoes, corn, and green beans, as well as squash, peppers, meat, eggs, and much more. At the Lexington Road Plaza, from 8:30 until noon. See you there!
