Thank you to everyone who joined us for another incredible Sip & Shop.

We had the opportunity to share four outstanding French wines, perfectly paired with food from our kitchen, and spend the evening talking wine, food, and everything Burgundy.

🇫🇷 This Thursday: A Taste of Burgundy at Mark’s Mart 🍷

Some wine tastings are about drinking wine.

This one is about meeting the people behind it.

A few weeks ago we had the privilege of hosting Justin Girardin, a 13th-generation Burgundian winemaker whose family has been making wine in Santenay since 1570. This Thursday, we’re opening those same bottles and sharing the story with you. Our friend Ryan Sipin from International Wines will guide the tasting while we pair each wine with food from our kitchen.

The pairing our counter can't stop recommending: 🥩 + 🍷

Irodori American Wagyu Ribeye + Damilano Barolo.

Wagyu coats your palate with buttery richness which makes soft, jammy reds fall flat. Barolo does the opposite. Its bright acidity and firm tannin reset your taste buds between every bite, which is why it's the perfect pour with wagyu.

Season it simply with salt, pepper, garlic; sear it hot, pour the Barolo, and you've got the best dinner in town.
