Riverview Farms Started selling sweet corn 16 years ago. Starting June 1 until July 4th, we sell super sweet varieties of SWEET CORN. We sell only FRESH not frozen vegatables.

In addition, we offer WATERMELONS, PEAS, BUTTERBEANS, TOMATOES AND SQUASH that is bought locally. LOCATIONS THAT SELL OUR CORN: Jena, LA on Wednesdays & Saturdays from 9:00AM until 1:00PM. We have planted our 1st and 2nd Planting of our Vidalia Super Sweet Corn Variety. The 1st planting has 1 to 2 leaves with the 2nd planting just emerging. With all of the wet cool weather, planting between the rains has been difficult. We anticipate having sweet corn to sell by June 1st. We will keep you informed as to our progress. Thanks Cecil

Our Sweet Corn will be available at the Vidalia stand (next to the Mobile station and Hoggatt's Storage) beginning Saturday, May 26. Stand will be open 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Sunday. Starting Monday, May 28, the stand will be open Monday through Saturday 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. To place your order for fresh, not frozen, pink-eye purple hull peas and green and speckled butterbeans, please call us at 318-336-5935.

Our stand in Vidalia will be open through Saturday, July 2. Week of July 4, corn can be picked up by appointment only. We will be in Jena this week on Wednesday (6/29) and Saturday (7/2). Saturday will be our last day in Jena this season. Thank you to all of our customers!!

As a way to show our appreciation for everyone's continued patronage, we are offering a deal of BUY 2 BAGS OF SWEET CORN and GET ONE BAG FREE. The stand in Vidalia is open Mon.-Sat. 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. We will be in Jena, La. each Wednesday and Saturday.

Sweet corn is being picked daily and will be available through the month of June and possibly the first week of July. Speckled and green butterbeans are coming in and we are taking orders for them now. Supply of Pink-eye, purple-hull peas will be limited because of seepage water from the Mississippi River. Peas will probably be picked only once. Place your order for corn, beans and peas by calling 318-336-5935.

We anticipate having a supply of sweet corn available this weekend at our stand in Vidalia. We will be in full operation in Vidalia starting June 1. We also take the sweet corn to Jena, Louisiana, each Saturday and Wednesday during the month of June. Our first trip to Jena for this season is June 4. To place your order, please call 318-336-5935.
