☀Good evening everyone. I hope you all are having a wonderful Tuesday.☀
I've been meaning to keep everyone up to date with all the bakery doings, but I haven't kept up with y'all as I should.

🍞If you are a long time follower, you can tell that my market/event attendance has been rather sparse lately. I have been trying to juggle everything in my life, while also still attending markets. I am finding it hard to keep up with as you can see.
I am going to go ahead and call for a temporary pause in bakery business as of today. I apologize for anyone looking forward to purchasing from me, but I promise this is not the end of Timid Willow Bakery.🍞

🌸I had to come to this decision due to the fact that I have been having a difficult time trying to do everything I need to take care of in a week/ month while also trying to prep for market days. My market prep weeks need a lot of time dedicated to them, so it can be difficult when you have many other things to take care of at the same time.🌸
📝I homeschool my teenage daughter (full curriculum) as well as bring her to her extracurriculars, our volunteer work, and her tutoring all week. Along with this we have been packed with many trips to take care of medical appointments which also takes time out of my weeks. Not to mention the daily work that it takes to help run a household. Which I know you can all understand.🙌

🏠BUT on top of it all something exciting has been happening (it also does add to the plate.) We are in the process of finding and purchasing our first ever house!🏠
Many of you already know that I do all of my bakery work out of my apartment. I don't have any fancy equipment and sometimes my oven doesn't want to work properly, but it gets the job done. I have lived here for 13 years now. 😅
👏We are so ready to move forward and finally plant our feet firmly in the community with the purchase of a home.👏

🌷🪻🌿I am super excited for all the opportunities that will open up with this. My hope is to start a small homestead on my property, growing it over time, once the home buying process settles down. That will mean things like raising a few of my own chickens to have my own eggs, as well as a vegetable garden and whatever fruits I can try and grow. I also hope to grow a few of my own edible flowers to decorate my lovely baked goods. There are so many ideas in my head that I cannot wait to see come to fruition. 🌿🪻🌷

~~~❤I hope you will still follow along with my journey and wait for me to get back into full swing.
This is not the end! Only a new beginning!❤~~~
I cannot thank everyone enough for being here and supporting me. I have loved being able to get to know you all so well and offer fresh quality baked goods and cottage foods for you and your families over the years! Thank you!🩷😊
