Just wrapped up an insightful Everything Beef Conference with Bob Shipley and some industry leaders, discussing ways to elevate the quality and consistency of livestock from small local farmers in our region.

From grasses and soil health to breeding and genetic testing, we covered it all!

Excited to see the positive impact this will have on the nutritional value and taste of the meat we consume 🍖🌿

Donations in honor of Cole Ellis can be made to Watauga FFA

Hi everyone. I wanted to let you know that if you would like to make a donation in honor of Cole Ellis, our account is now open. You can go to this website and create an account. https://www.myschoolbucks.com/ver2/getmain.action

Once an account has been made, you can search for the Watauga school district. From there, click on the "store" button, then click "browse all items". You should see the Cole Jackson Ellis Memorial page there.

Again, cash and check donations will also be accepted, and checks can be made out to Watauga High FFA.

Thank you again for your continued support. We greatly appreciate anyone who chooses to donate in honor of Cole. Cole was a fantastic young man and we are so proud of him. Please remember to keep Cole's family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.

We are heartbroken over the Ellis family's loss. Prayers for peace and comfort for the whole family!

It’s with a heavy heart that we let you know our 14 year old son, Cole Ellis, was tragically killed in a farming accident December 30th. Cole was doing what he loves to do, feeding cattle and checking them over.

To know him was to love him. He worked harder than most men twice his age. He was sharp, witty and knowledgeable beyond his years. He loved his family, his farms and his friends.

We cannot begin to thank our community, both farming and friends, who have been here for us. We are blessed beyond measure to have each of you in our lives. We will never be able to thank you all individually, but know that what you have done for us has not gone unnoticed. From the calls, texts, messages and visits, each one has meant so much to us.

We love you all!
