Being a great market vendor is about more than selling products—it’s about being a good neighbor and helping create a positive experience for everyone.

🌻 Respect Your Fellow Vendors

* Give neighboring vendors reasonable space and respect their displays.
* Don’t block another vendor’s booth, signage, or customer access.
* Avoid making negative comments about another vendor’s products or prices.
* Don’t intentionally undercut another vendor or interfere with their sales.
* Be willing to share information, ideas, and encouragement with fellow vendors.

🛍️ Be Professional With Customers

* Greet customers warmly and be approachable.
* Let customers browse without pressure.
* Be honest about your products, pricing, and growing or production practices.
* Keep your prices clearly displayed.
* Handle complaints politely and professionally.
* Remember that every customer interaction reflects on the entire market.

💵 Respect Pricing & Sales

* Honor your posted prices.
* Make change or accept approved payment methods as efficiently as possible.
* Avoid criticizing another vendor’s prices or offering unsolicited opinions about their business.
* If a customer is already being assisted by another vendor, allow that vendor to finish the interaction.
