Everyone deserves access to good food.

It's a simple idea, but for many families in our community, it's not always a reality.

That's why Old Beach Farmers Market created Farmers Markets Giving Back nearly a decade ago. What started as a simple food drive has grown into an annual community effort that has provided thousands of pounds of food to local families through the Judeo-Christian Outreach Center.

Saturday, June 20th marks the 9th Annual Farmers Markets Giving Back Food Drive.

Over the next few weeks, consider picking up an extra item or two during your shopping trips and setting them aside for donation. When hundreds of people each bring a little, the impact becomes something much bigger.

This market has always been about more than food. It's about community. It's about neighbors helping neighbors.

And that's something worth showing up for.
