HOT TIP! Freeze smoothie Starter

I love fresh cooking options year round so here's my hot tip! Freeze in season homegrown or farmers market fruit and veg. A favourite smoothie starter recipe of mine is… vanilla yogurt, strawberries, blueberries, and mango, chia seed and oj…so you can enjoy Summer goodness when gloomy, cold weather.

Fresh veggies frozen…. Tip … as your veggies are going to go bad.. make them into pot roast starter! I always have a bag of celery, carrots, and onions in the freezer to not waste food.

What are your tips on freezing extras or in season items for future use??

My choices…. glamping - I grew up
Camping in a tent but now need to sleep
off the ground, 5th wheel fir now but will see as I would love to travel around the US to national parks, and air b and b for more space while traveling with family and friends -don’t get me wrong I love to have room service too. 🙂
