Mākeke Wai'anae, a farmers' & green market Mākeke Waianae is owned and operated by ‘Elepaio Social Services, a wholly owned nonprofit subsidiary of the Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center.

The primary purpose of the Mākeke is to help cultivate a community that is healthy in mind, body and spirit by providing vibrant gathering places for the community, local food producers and Hawaiian cultural practitioners to; connect, share, learn, teach, entertain, and express values that lead to healthy and affordable habits which move Hawai‘i closer to maintaining long-term sustainable food sources.
