You may have heard of planting tomatoes on their side. It may sound like a weird thing to do, but here's why it works so well:

Tomato stems are full of parenchyma cells. These non-descript cells are located just below the epidermal layer. One of the coolest things parenchyma cells do is turn into roots, known as adventitious roots

By burying the plant sideways or very deeply in your garden, you’re putting more of the stem underground from the start to enable lots of adventitious root growth. This means your tomato plant now has a much more complex root system, making it easier to take up the water and nutrients needed to make bushel after bushel of tomatoes.

So get to planting your tomatoes sideways! Happy Gardening!

Who is ready to plant gardens?!?! I have so many plants!! In January when I start them I just don’t know when to stop 😂🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ My plants have always done so much better than any garden plant I have purchased from Home Depot, black diamond, or any other greenhouse!! 🤷🏼‍♀️ I don’t know how I have such a green thumb, but I do! I do use fertilizers and chemicals on my plants while they are growing so they are not organic sorry! Please please message me before you buy plants somewhere!! I just have more than I know what to do with!

I have a lot of my plants started!! If you are going to want plants from me this year please message me so I can be sure to have what you want. This year my single garden plants are going to be $2 each (thanks to everything being expensive now). I have a few different plants in 6 packs at different prices.

Garden plants consist of big and cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, red and green peppers, jalapeños, onions, and a few other random plants.
Herbs I have started are dill, parsley, sage, basil,oregano, cilantro, cat nip, thyme, rosemary.

Annual flowers are limited. I have impatiens mixed colors, morning glory mix, zinnias, begonias in sun glow and pink halo

Perennial flowers are limited. I have delphiniums, hollyhocks, butterfly w**d in orange, gerbera daisy in burgundy.

Miscellaneous plants i have a lot of ipomoea flora Mia Rosso ( red potato vines ), black colocasia ( elephant ears ), Kalanchoe Tomentosa polar bear ( polar bear succulents)

It’s that time of year again that I am going to get my plants started!! If you know you are going to want plants from me this year just le me know what kind you would like and how many! Not too many things I don’t grow so if I don’t have what you are looking for I will let you know! This year I will be charging $2 a plant of course because of everything going up in price including the electric! ( I don’t want to see what the next few months our bill will be 🤦🏼‍♀️)
