As the leaves begin to change and autumn settles in, we're announcing that the Waldoboro Farmers Market will be concluding its season a bit earlier this year. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of you who have been with us, rain or shine, throughout the season. Your support and enthusiasm have meant the world to us!

Though the market may be closing for the year, our dedication to bringing fresh, local, and vibrant produce to our community remains as strong as ever. We'll be spending the winter months planning, programming, and exploring exciting opportunities to make next year's market even better than the last.

But we're not stopping there – we're on the lookout for new vendors to join our market family in the upcoming season. If you or someone you know is passionate about sharing their products with our wonderful community, we'd love to hear from you. Together, we can make the Waldoboro Farmers Market an even more vibrant and diverse place to shop and connect.

The start to ALL this… lacto-fermented cabbage kimchi. The way my Halmoni taught my dad, who taught me. That’s what first got me obsessed with ferments… like sourdough.

The path to here winds wild 😜

Spicy pints are in the fridge here at the stand. Along with fudgy, moist chocolate ricotta cake, three kinds of scones, and white sourdough loaves.

As we come into the cusp of summertime, I'm reminded how "simple things" are both beautiful and tasty.
For August, lavender is my featured flavor. We grow and harvest much our own but in the case of these pretty hues of faded pinks, they were sourced from a lavender farm out in Union.
Some of these have been extracted, others dried. All very sophisticated in flavor when paired.
