Sparkling Balsamic Cocktail: Combine 4 cups crushed ice, 1 c. Loide’ Plum Balsamic, ½ c. Ginger Ale, ¼ c. Brandy
and 1 (750ml) bottle of Sparkling Wine Yield: 8 servings
Artichoke & Feta Dip: Serves 6 to 8
12 oz. Sheep’s milk Feta, ½ cup Loide’ Lemon Olive Oil, 1 can (13.75 oz) quartered artichoke hearts, drained & cut in half, Lemon Zest, ¼ tsp Pepper Flakes (or drizzle of spicy olive oil), 1 Tbs. fresh Oregano Leaves (optional), Loide’ Sicilian Lemon Balsamic
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place feta in middle of an 8” oven proof dish or cast-iron pan. Pour Lemon Olive Oil over cheese, sprinkle remaining ingredients on and around the cheese. Cover with parchment-lined foil and bake until heated through, about 40 minutes. Let cool slightly, then drizzle Sicilian Lemon Balsamic over all before serving with crackers or crostini.
Greek Pasta Salad: Serves 6 to 8
6 cups cooked pasta, chopped tomato, chopped red onion, kalamata or black olives, Feta cheese crumbles. Dressing: equal parts Rosemary & Thyme Olive Oil and Tarragon Balsamic
Little Smokies or Meatballs: 1 package of homemade or ready-made meatballs and/or Little Smokies
3/4 c Loide’ Fig Balsamic, 1/4 c Loide’ Vermont Maple Balsamic
2 Tbsp. Loide’ Chipotle Olive Oil,2 Tbsp. Loide’ Garlic Olive Oil
1 Tbsp. Loide’ Neapolitan Herb Balsamic,1 Tbsp. of Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper
Directions: Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and stir until all the ingredients are incorporated and the mixture is smooth. Simmer over medium heat until reduced by 1/3, about 15 to 20 minutes.
Pour over smokies/meatballs in crockpot and cook on low for 1 hour.
Fruit Plate: Assortment of fresh fruit of choice
Drizzle with this delightful dressing, equal parts Loide’ Sicilian Lemon & Loide’ Strawberry Balsamic and Loide’ Lemon Olive oil. For a creamy dressing add 1 cup vanilla yogurt and poppyseeds (optional)
