Asparagus Man Farm fresh green asapragus grown in western Michigan. We sell directly from our farm during the season (usually May 10th to June 15th).

Grown on the Stephens' farm one mile north of Walkerville we offer healthy, high quality and reasonably priced asapragus. Stop by the packing shed anytime during the day to make a purchase. Call or email for special orders. We also sell to local grocers and farmers' markets.

I ordered a new hydro cooler tank. It will be positioned directly under the unit that holds the asparagus lugs . The old system relied on a pump to recirculate the water back to the main tank. I had to throttle down the deluge to avoid flooding. This should speed up the cooling operation by running the spray pump full throttle.

A timeline of bike rides to traverse our country. 2005, Nova Scotia to Michigan border .2007 , Astoria Oregon to Casper Wyoming. 2010 the farm to Ludington car ferry across Wisconsin, Iowa to Hastings Nebraska. 2018, Briggsdale Colorado to Hastings Nebraska. 2020 , Oakland county to Richmond Michigan.2022, Richmond to Marine City. 2023 , Briggsdale to Wyoming border then Casper Wyoming to Cheyenne and then to the Colorado border. A lot of major and minor trips, but the segment missing from the above list is the first leg from Oakland County to the farm in 1984.
