🚜 Progress Update from Sunset Hill Homestead 🌅

We’re not talking about it… we’re out here building it.

Today was a big one:
Potatoes, onions, sweet potatoes, berries all planted ✔️
Fruit trees going in this week 🌳
Garden beds going up as fast as we can build them 🔨

This is the grind phase—but it’s all leading to something awesome for our community this summer.

Fresh eggs.
Fresh veggies.
Jams, jellies, honey…
Real food, grown right.

Emma’s been out here working alongside us and even Sophie is starting to warm up to the baby chicks (we’ll call that a win 😂).

🌻 Big News from the Homestead! 🌻

We wanted to share a big update with our amazing community — Muddy Hearts Homestead is officially on the move to Wallingford! 🏡💛

As we settle into our new location, we truly appreciate everyone’s patience and continued support while we rebuild our gardens, get our chickens settled, and prepare for the return of our farmstand. Our goal is to be fully up and running again next spring, better than ever! 🌱🐓

We’re also excited to share that after the holidays — and once all of our permits are finalized — we will be officially unveiling our new name and logo: Sunset Hill Homestead 🌅✨ A fresh chapter with the same heart, just a new hill to grow on.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for sticking with us through this transition. We can’t wait to welcome you all to our new home and continue growing together.

It’s been a while Muddy Hearts Fans! We’ve been busy trying to get everything situated at our new permanent location (we’ll reveal after the holidays 😉). BUT, we’d like to introduce our new little lady, Miss Sophie who was out collecting the last of our mayflower loofahs for this year! We will have a very busy off season with the move and preparing all sorts of good stuff for next year!!

🍂 Muddy Hearts Homestead Update 🍂

We’re excited to share that our farm stand is officially open at its temporary location — 4 E Scard Rd, Wallingford, CT!

Until we are fully permitted again, we’ll be running on a donations-only basis. We’re in the process of setting up with all of our favorite fall goodies, fresh eggs, and seasonal veggies, and we’ll continue to update you as things progress.

Our feathered friends are happy and healthy in their new home, and we’re so grateful to see them settling in right alongside us. 🐓🦆

As we prepare to make our big move to wallingford, we figured we’d check in! We are in the process of getting all the legal stuff out of the way, but we are getting together our fall offerings and will hopefully be ready for you soon at our new temporary location! The chickens and The Dirty Ducks have all nestled in to their new home nicely and we will have some eggs for you soon! Please message us if you have any questions and stay tuned for more updates!

Well the day has come. Our lovely ladies are moving out today! If anyone’s around and would like to help us dismantle some pens and get our girls set up at their new temporary home, it would be greatly appreciated! Stop on by!

SURPRISE!!!!!
In the midst of our packing, moving and rehoming madness, our crazy girl Kiki hatched two babies in the ridiculous heatwave. Soooo we are happy to introduce Hedes & Luci!!!
