I started "Sweet Creations by Janine" to incorporate two of my passions ... cooking and art! I currently stay home with my 2 wonderful boys, Ethan and Jake. I began by making the cakes for my children's birthday parties and I found that the personalization and creativity of their birthday cakes brought them so much joy and excitement that I wanted to make them available to others. rofessional experience was at an architectural firm in center city Philadelphia, where I worked for 8 years as a professional Interior Designer. Prior to my professional experience I attended Moore College of Art and Design and earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design. While attending Moore I was also trained in various other art fields such as drawing, sculpture, painting, metal, photography and color theory. I have always had a passion for art and cooking in my life. Recently I have taken classes at The Viking Cooking School (specializing in cake decorating) and also Wilton cake decorating certification classes. When designing cakes I try to incorporate my art, design and professional background to create unique and interesting pieces.
