Dinner time for our young Kunekune pigs on the farm. Early fall is such a beautiful time of year I love to stand here and look out over the farm before all the leaves start to fall.

A little update on our outdoor chicken run for the winter season. I'm starting to add vegetables and garden plants combined with wood chips to build up a deep bed of organic matter for the chickens to scratch through during the winter months. Would be great to hear your thoughts...

This will be our last event in the Port Ewen storefront for the foreseeable future. We will miss seeing you all very much!

The store front will be open regular hours (10AM – 3PM).
Fresh baked goods, including organic breads like sourdough, cakes, pies, cookies, preserves, and much more! We will be sure to celebrate as well! Last chance to pick up one of Rachel's Carrot Cakes or other baked goods..

Our second oldest son, Lenis, has been working together with another young man on designing a chicken tractor for layer hens. It has been a great project for him, working under the mentorship of our communities farmer and Gardner.
