🌽 If you have not checked out the Waseca County Farmer's Market this past winter, tomorrow is your chance!! They are offering a great market, with some fun ways to shop vendors and make cute 🐰craft for the kids!

The summer market starts up on May 16th in town, and corn🌽🌽🌽season will be here before we know it!! We are ready to get planting!!

GOOD NEWS!!! Our friends at the Waseca County Farmers Market has a winter location!
NO, we won't be offering sweet corn during the winter months.
NO WORRIES. Mom Wadd has been busy brainstorming some ideas! Stay tuned!

Good news Waseca, the Waseca County Farmers Market has teamed up with Farmamerica - The Minnesota Agricultural Interpretive Center to bring a Winter Farmers Market to the community!!

Starting November 8th, the farmers market will be set up every other Saturday at Farmamerica from 8-Noon! Now you’ll be able to support your local vendors all winter!!

Vendors, preregistration is required so we can plan ahead!
Registration is now open!! If you would like to pay with cash/check please stop by Farmamerica to register!

My neighbor Mason started selling sweet corn about four years to help pay for his college tuition. With the help of his family he planted it, grew it and picked it. So that, combined with my love of sweet corn, made it easy to collab with him and create a weekly feature.

When coming up with a recipe I thought about how I like to eat my sweet corn and with what: shaved off of the cob (trauma from braces), extra butter, s&p, potatoes and some sort of protein. Mixed in a bowl.
Yeah, totally a Thanksgiving leftover meal right?!

Add some cheese. Add scallions for
freshness + the subtle onion flavor balances
the corn's natural sweetness...

Field of Dreams: White wine & butter sauce with sautéed scallions, mozzarella cheese, lightly fried potatoes, andouille sausage, Mason's Sweet Corn, 5 cheese blend, topped with fresh scallions!👩🏼‍🌾

•Fri Sat 4-8p. + delivery to HPBC Sun 1+7p.
•On tap: Busch Light, Summit EPA, Badger State IPA, Stella (will be replaced with an Alaskan Amber) and Mineral Springs Brewery cream ale.

It is located very near our farm and worth the trip!!!
Em has put together this delish creation as her feature this weekend and we highly recommend!!
The corn season is wrapping up soon, but as a long as the flag is flying, we have corn in the stand. 🌽 🌽 🌽
