A heartfelt thank you to the incredible volunteers who made our 2024 MLK Day of Service a success! Over 20 neighbors, alongside Mott’s Market volunteers, united to clean up three alleys, filling more than 70 bags with leaves and trash. A special shoutout to our new market operator, , for lending his pickup truck to haul away bulky debris to the dump. Your collective effort has truly made our community shine.

In the heart of Capitol Hill, Mott’s Market has been a landmark and community hub for over a century. 🏡✨ The Choi family, who owned this gem for 40 years, put it up for sale in 2022, raising concerns about changes to our neighborhood’s character. That’s when our neighbor and friend, Christine Campbell, along with the amazing community, stepped up to lead the charge and save Mott’s!
