Hi all,
Highlight #1:The Buy Nothing Exchange is this Sunday, June 14 (9 AM to 1 PM). Bring items to give away. Take things with you that you need at home. All for FREE!
Highlight #2:GET YOUR EGGS (AND POULTRY, BREAKFAST LINKS, FISH -- YES FISH AND CRABS!!!) -- WITH HAPPY HENS' BARNYARD
Happy Hens' Barnyard's eggs have great yolk muscle tone (i.e., they taste creamier than the eggs you get at Safeway and Giant).
Did you know that Happy Hens' also sells chicken thighs, chicken breasts, and even FISH and CRABS? They do!
For fish and crabs, you will need to order in advance by calling 443-248-0535.
Highlight #3:GET YOUR KNIVES AND OTHER BLADES SHARPENED ON SUNDAY, JUNE 21, AT TFM!
Whether you are cooking dinner or trimming hedges, a properly sharpened blade will make completing your job faster, easier, and more enjoyable. We offer sharpening of kitchen knives, scissors, lawn mower blades (must be removed by owner), garden shears, shovels, spades, axes; just about anything with a blade except woodworking tools and chainsaws. Our objective is to make having sharp tools convenient. We'd love for you to stop by our space at the Trinidad Farmers Market to try us out! Bring your kitchen knives, scissors, garden tools, lawn mower blades, shovels, and axes and let us make that dull blade razor sharp.
Highlight #3:A handful of TFM vendors are part-time vendors. Some notable schedules:
* Mastiha Taverna (Greek Food) -- Temporarily not coming to TFM due to fire damage at their cooking facility. (Double Dip will fill in during this time.)

(D) Trivia -- Lunchables weren't meant for kidsLunchables were invented to help sell more bologna, and they weren't meant to be for kids. This was because in the 1980s, sales of bologna dropped as people were buying less of it due to health concerns about eating too much meat. In 1988, Oscar Mayer came up with the idea to boost sales by creating a pre-packaged, ready-to-eat lunch meal kit that paired meat with crackers and cheese, which they would target towards the entire family, but mainly busy working parents.
See you this Sunday! 1299 Neal Street NE, Washington, DC 20002. Our Sunday market uses the parking lot of Joseph Cole Community Center / Wheatley Elementary School. Open most Sundays, year round, 9 AM to 1 PM.
