Hello, does anyone have any good tips or tricks to help finish training my Vizsla, Copper? He is 8 months old and has been in training classes for 4 months now. He knows all commands but chooses not to listen to them 80% of the time. Even when I have treats. He never listens to recall (inside and outside) pulls on a leash, is still mouthing and chewing on us, he needs to be tethered to me in the house most of the time because he will chew and eat anything he sees. I’m going crazy.
I should add we go on short runs with him since his joints are still growing i don’t go too long. Walks are almost impossible because he doesn’t listen on a leash, but we try. We also let him run for an hour or so at a time in the backyard chasing birds etc. so he gets exercise..
