We are so excited to welcome “Sunny Surcies” to the Harbor District Market! Stop by the Market and check out their vibrant, beautiful booth! Shop with them and support local!

“Our Sunny Story”

Welcome to SunnySurcies! This idea started as a hobby and came to fruition with the encouragement of family and friends who found joy in receiving our surcies. Surcie is defined as “a thoughtful, unexpected, and often inexpensive gift given for no specific occasion, but rather as a ‘just because’ gesture of love and appreciation.” Surcies have been part of our lives since we were children. Who doesn’t love to receive a little something just because?

There is nothing fancy about our products; however, they are sure to bring a smile to your face. Each image is an authentic image that we’ve taken from photographs of the beauty around us and of those people and places who make us happy. All our designs are original.

Tom & Paige have been together for 27 years, 26 of those as a married couple. They can often be found at their happy place, “Camp Fun”, their family river cottage on the Pamlico River in Bayview, NC. This cottage has been in Paige’s family since 1974 and their kids, Grant and Janie, named the river cottage “Camp Fun” when they were little. Their Bath roots are deep with Paige’s grandfather Bonner Latham, who grew up on Main Street in Bath. Tom is a computer geek who is an information technology consultant; he recently discovered his creative side. Paige is a teaching instructor at East Carolina University and loves all holidays. Both Tom and Paige enjoy being outside and simply enjoy life with the acute understanding that it can be a roller coaster at times so take time each day to appreciate the little things and be sure to hug your friends and family coming & going…..

What a wonderful 🩷WISE Galentine’s Social🩷

We had a great evening learning all about “House of Colour Bath, NC”! We got to see a live color analysis demonstration and it was AMAZING to see how much color plays a role in your appearance!

We are so grateful to partner with Washington-Beaufort County Chamber of Commerce for this event!

As a nod to WISE (women in support of excellence) we had food catered by Carryout by Chrislyn and it was a beautiful spread and delicious as always! A big thank you to Somerset,LLC for sponsoring the food!
