📣📣📣 whoop we made it! Happy Thursday and FINAL THURSDAY OUTSIDE MARKET OF THE SEASON FOR THE 2026 YEAR! As we wrap up our move to UHAUL, we just want to give their team a big THANK YOU for taking us on and giving us a fantastic place to land for a market location! You guys are THE BEST! Now on to our festivities! As we wind down, were going to wind the kids up with a round of 🎃TRUNK OR TREAT🎃! Bring your littles, bring your bigs, heck, bring the dog with you but don't forget to bring yourself down the the market Thursday 3-6 pm, 3810 University Avenue in Waterloo! Your vendors are gearing up and the ovens are going! From fresh baked goods to fresh home grown mushrooms and more, get your produce stocked up and get your sweet tooth satisfied without the extra walking, double win!

There are only 2 chances (today and Saturday) to use up any FMNP Senior and WIC Vouchers or UNI Veggie Vouchers that you have for fresh produce or honey (honey is only available for purchase with the Senior FMNP Vouchers).

Speaking of winning, we are participating in the prize raffle for the Halloween Festival & Customer Appreciation event at our sister market, Evansdale IA Farmers Markets, Saturday, and you will be able to get raffle tickets at the market today for chances to win over 30 raffle prizes!

🤩THe BHFMA's Winter Farmers Market kicks off November 9th, and will be held at 320 & 322 E. 4th St. in Waterloo, across from Genos pizza!!! You can find 19 vendors there this season!

📣It's the last Tuesday market of the season at our Cedar Valley Farmers Markets at Kimball Ridge, from 3-6 pm! Stop by for fresh produce🍅🫑🍎🥒🥕🥦🍠🥔, pumpkins🎃 and gourds👽🧟‍♂️, eggs🥚, jellies and honey🍯, cookies🍪 and bagels🥯, sweet breads🎃🍌 and yeast breads🍞, BBQ sauce, as well as jewelry📿🧿, wood🪵🪾🥄🥣🏰 crafts, medicinal herbs🌿 and teas, and more!

🤓Don't forget to use up any Farmers Market Nutrition Program or UNI Local Food Program Veggie Vouchers if you have them, as they expire on the 31st!

🎫Stop by our sister market-Evansdale IA Farmers Markets 3-6 pm on Wednesday for more chances to get raffle tickets for the big prize raffle on Saturday and their last Wednesday of the season!

🎄🎁Many of our vendors will be starting up at the Black Hawk Farmers Marketing Association Inc's indoor Winter Farmers Market at 320 and 322 E. 4th Street in Waterloo November 9th! 19 small businesses, including so many gourmet foods and baked goodies, even a sourdough baker and a gluten free baker, many artisan treasures, even an on site hat and T-shirt press, and so much more!

We would like to formally invite you to our last outside thursday market of the 2026 season with a round of trunk or treat with your vendors and our friends from uhaul! We will be holding our normal market times but your vendors will also be passing out candy to wrap up the season! We appreciate your patronage and this is one small way of us showing you our grattitude! Bring the kids, grandkids, even the neighbors kids! Make sure to use these vouchers up, as they expire October 31st!

🍄It's National Mushroom🍄‍🟫 Day! Bring an umbrella☔ cuz it is supposed to be raining, and stop by our Cedar Valley Farmers Markets at UHaul location Thursday 3-6 pm to get FRESH Black Pearl Oyster mushrooms from Tech Gnar Farms, gluten free goodies from ABG Bakery, plates of the BEST chocolate chip cookies from baker Mark Litteaur, pies/scotcheroos/cookies from baker Jade Plank, as well as squash, pumpkins, an assortment of fresh produce, eggs, honey, jellies, mums, artisan crafts and jewelry, and more!

😥 Due to the rain and a few vendors' health issues, some of our regular vendors will not be at the market today. Some items mentioned in this post may not be at the market due to the weather or life events. Please come out and show your support for the vendors that will be there in the rain🌧️ waiting for YOU!
