This post has been difficult to write, but it is time to officially announce that we have decided to close our Pearson Pumpkin Patch.
You all have made the last 5 years so successful and seeing your sweet families coming out to the farm in the fall is what makes closing so hard. Not the hours and hours of planting, weeding, watering, weeding again, and worrying about weather when we could be spending time with family and friends.
Last Memorial weekend, we hand planted over 1500 hills of pumpkins and gourds. This Memorial weekend, we got to spend it camping with our family which is exactly where we want to be! Time goes by too fast, and when a hobby becomes work, it is time to move on.
So, thank you again for all of your support over the last 5 years and please help support another local pumpkin farm this fall!
