Our friends at The Literary Bakery (you may recognize them from the Farmers Market and Harvest Daze) kindly lent us their cooler to keep our ice cold and secure for this weekend's Bagels & Brunch event! As their name suggests, they are librarians at the Watseka Public Library. Don't forget to explore the library's events calendar to discover all the fantastic programs taking place throughout the month! 📚📆

Thank you to everyone that came out to see us at Harvest Daze yesterday!! We are here again today with a lot of treats left!!!! 10 to 4!!

We are all sold out of our S’mores cookies and Peaches & Cream Scones. Also there’s a limited quantity of our Pumpkin Cream Cheese muffins and Mocha Scones, but have plenty of everything else!!!!

Last day of Harvest Daze and we have a new batch of fresh brewed tea (sold out yesterday!), Blueberry Galettes, Smoked Gouda Buttermilk Biscuits, and pastries! Yesterday was Corner Cottage Antiques & Gifts very own Suzie Canady’s birthday and we will have some of her wonderful fall decor at our booth as well! You may even see her this afternoon at the Stephens Bros Opera House (Watseka Community Renewal) tent, so stop by! We hear they’re doing a 50/50 raffle too! Our farmers market friends The Literary Bakery is a few tents down from us, Middleport Gardens and Robert and Holly Rice's Beef and Pork Sleepy Hollow Farm are also here slinging their 🍯 🍞 🍪 and 🥩 🍔 Be sure to pay them a visit too!

With the drop in the temperature this last week, we thought it was fitting to debut an item from our fall menu. A fluffy pumpkin muffin, with a sweet cream cheese filling!! Pairs nicely with a big cup of coffee! We are aware of the forecasted temperatures this weekend, but that’s not going to stop us from enjoying some fall treats!!
